Description

The Tin Roof Team.

Another MVC pic for an MVC contest.

When I first thought up this team,
I was originally going to have it consist of
Felicia, Tigra and the Blackcat as it's members.
However, as I thought about it a little more,
it occurred to me that Blackcat didn't seem to have any real cat powers.
She did have enhanced physical abilities and some sort of hex powers,
but no actual cat or cat-like powers to speak of.

After a little more pondering,
I remembered MARVEL's "Catseye".
(she is kind of obscure......and I believe that she's also deceased in current comicbook continuity).
Although I'm sure sure she was around for awhile,
I only saw her once, but I really liked what I did see of her.

Despite being categorized as a villain,
she actually had a rather happy-go-lucky, playful disposition.
I'd say her personality is liken to Elena from Street Fighter.
She also always referred to herself in the 3rd person,
which I thought kind of added to her cuteness.

I did make a little design change on her for this pic though.
In her original official design,
(by Bill Sienkiewicz I believe)
her hybrid catform is actually a lot less human looking,
and really leaned more toward the animal/beastial side.
(She looked like a really big cat-werewolf-thing)
For this pic, I chose to make her a lot more Felicia-like,
but kept in those "monster feet" as a nod to her original look.

If Catseye had ever been included in MVC, or MVC2,
I think that her in-game sprite would probably
have just been a re-color of Felicia's in-game sprite.
Which, (character-wise) I think would have actually fit and worked just fine.

I like how this pic turned out.
